a view from the rope
leads me to his (deaths') empire
life reduced to funeral soil
the view from up here is so peaceful
knowing it will all end so soon

final breaths chase the wind
to my sunset and my death
my name is heard
in the wounds of the weeping

morose...
the impending weight of agony
crushing down-trodden melancholy
the tide of depressive illness
washes me in its blue tenure

sleepless
dweller in sadness
breath by breath
dead?

tenebrous winds blow aimless here
sleeping with corpses
aside from what god wants

as ocean waves,i wave goodbye
as autumn leaves i fall
upon the distance
but not so far as it may seem
sunken...
beaten back to one
flogged,fucked and forgotten

Grabbed this on Bandcamp whilst watching it being played live at The Dome. Tears welled up as the final crescendo peaked and had it been the end of my cycle, I would have happily spontaneously combusted, I then realised it was only dawn and the first of the triptych, so I will soldier on, at least until dusk and endure another two stellar opus’s before I can embark on that final journey.
